Residency Hotels' plans

CHENNAI: The Residency hotel, which belongs to the Appaswamy group, plans to take up the renovation work in the hotel at a cost of Rs. 10 crores. The revamp will be completed over the next 12 to 18 months period. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, K. C. Tharyan, Executive Director, The Residency Group of Hotels, said the hotel was upgraded in order to meet the emerging business standards of today and future. — Our Staff Correspondent
