Northeast monsoon active over T.N.

CHENNAI NOV. 15. Northeast monsoon has been active over Tamil Nadu.

Rainfall occurred at many places over Tamil Nadu and at a few places over Kerala and Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

The minimum temperature fell at one or two places over Coastal Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over Telangana and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Monday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, South Kerala and Lakshadweep and at a few places over North Kerala.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and North Interior Karnataka.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Isolated heavy rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, South Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
