Beginning the day with a solitary stroke lead, Ashok bogeyed the last two holes but that did not stop him from winning by five stokes at 9-under 279. This was his second career title after he had won the Noida Open last year. He took home the winner's cheque of Rs. 1,37,700. Club-mate Pappan, who was in the reckoning till the front nine, ended up as the runner-up with a total of 284 and was richer by Rs. 95,200. S.S.P. Chowrasia and Sanjay Kumar shared the third position with just a stroke behind. In the amateur round, Girish Virk of Indian Oil Corporation won the title with a total of 296 while teammate Anitya Chand finished six strokes behind for a second-place finish.
