Lars Walan, Managing Director of Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals India Ltd. (AZPIL), the Indian marketing subsidiary of the MNC, told reporters on Monday, that Symbicort Turbuhaler, costing Rs. 1000 for a 60-dose unit would be available `on prescription only'. An Astra Zeneca release said Symbicort delivered both the long lasting bronchodilator and the fast acting corticosteroid in the same dose.
