Stress on right living

NEW DELHI NOV. 17 . The head of the Sant Nirankari Mission, Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, has said the realisation of the ultimate truth was essential to make human life meaningful and purposeful. "When man understands the truth, he imbibes the noble qualities of love, compassion, co-operation and tolerance,'' he said.

Addressing a huge congregation on the second day of the three-day annual Nirankari Sant Samagam on Sunday evening, Baba Ji said those who have such qualities within them know the right way of living. Man does not become the best creation of God by taking birth as a human being but he must qualify for the same through thought and action.

Emphasising the need for peace within and calm outside, Baba Ji said man does not face any danger from beasts but from other human beings because of the negative forces.
