Rain likely over coastal T.N.

CHENNAI NOV. 19. Isolated rainfall occurred over Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep.

Thiruvananthapuram Airport recorded 1 cm rainfall.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at a few places over South Interior Karnataka, at one or two places over North Interior Karnataka, Telangana, Rayalaseema and North Interior Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over rest Telangana, North Tamil Nadu and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka, above normal at one or two places over South Tamil Nadu, appreciably below normal at one or two places over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and North Interior Tamil Nadu, below normal at a few places over North Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over Rayalaseema, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Hyderabad Airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Friday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and south Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Kerala, Lakshadweep, interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (forecast valid until the morning of 21st November): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Interior Tamil Nadu.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Significant increase in rainfall.
