Addressing separate press conferences here, the CPI(M) State Secretariat members, Maruti Manpade and S.V. Gurushant, and the DSS State convener, D.G. Sagar, said the Government should prevent the activists of the VHP and the Bajrang Dal from going ahead with their programme. Mr. Sagar said the Government should issue notice to the President of the BJP State unit, H.N. Ananth Kumar, for making inflammatory statements on the Bababudangiri controversy.
