IT Dept. informed about Telgi's property

BANGALORE Nov. 22. The Income Tax Department has been furnished with details of the property owned by Abdul Karim Telgi in Bangalore and other places. Sources in the Stamp Paper Investigation Team (STAMPIT), which has been entrusted with the job of investigating the multi-crore stamp paper racket, told The Hindu on Saturday that they had come across several properties in Bangalore and other places which had been purchased by Telgi, the prime accused in the racket, and his associates whose involvement in the stamp paper racket is being investigated.
