CPI(M) for probe into encounter

BELLARY Nov. 22. G.N. Nagaraj, Secretary of the State unit of CPI(M), has sought a high-level inquiry into the police action against naxalites in which two women were killed at Eedu village in Dakshina Kannada district recently. Addressing presspersons here today, Mr. Nagaraj, said his party was against unlawful activities. He said killing people without any evidence of their involvement in criminal activities was an "act of cowardice".
