Jaitley serves notice on publication

Bhopal Nov. 22. The Law Minister, Arun Jaitley, today said that a notice had been served on a newspaper which published his name as one among six `tainted' Ministers referred to in an alleged "report" by the Central Vigilance Commissioner, P. Shankar.

``I've been waiting for a reply.. I won't wait any longer,'' he told reporters here.

He wondered how the publication would defend itself in the wake of Mr. Shankar's statement that the report was "baseless and absurd."
