Badal chargesheeted

ROPAR NOV. 22. Estimating the value of properties of the former Chief Minister of Punjab, Parkash Singh Badal, his wife, son and close friends at Rs. 4,326 crores in India and abroad, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau today filed a 86-page chargesheet against them in the court of the District and Sessions Judge, Inderjeet Singh, here, accusing them of having ``created assets'' of Rs. 78.39 crores during the tenure of the Akali Dal-BJP Government in 1997-2002.
