New twist to cricket row

NEW DELHI NOV. 22. In a new twist to the ongoing controversy regarding Abhijit Kale and the selectors, the Hyderabad all-rounder and former India `A' batsman, Vanka Pratap, has alleged in an interview to the Sahara Samay Rashtriya channel that he was asked to pay up to be selected in the team. ``I have been approached but I didn't bother,'' said Vanka. ``Someone approached me on behalf of the selectors. I wouldn't like to name the selector but everybody in the Hyderabad Cricket Association knows who he is.''
