A UNI report said the Bihar Chief Minister, Rabri Devi, today urged Mr. Gogoi to issue `shoot at sight' orders for frustrating the attempts of separatists unleashing violence in the State.
In a telephonic conversation with Mr. Gogoi, she said the situation would return to normal soon with the cooperation of Assam's peace-loving people and stern action by the administration.
She appealed to the people of Assam not to heed those who wanted to disrupt the country's unity and integrity.
