Guwahati Nov. 24. After a brief lull, the anti-Bihari campaign in Assam today claimed three more lives in worst-hit Tinsukia district, taking the toll to 53.

Official sources said the bodies of three members of a family, who were missing since Sunday, were recovered from Ajukhochapori, about 30 kms from Tinsukia town.

The three were identified as Suraj Yadav (55), Rajdev Yadav (65) and Jai Prakash Yadav (30). The Home Commissioner, K.D. Tripathi, said stray incidents of burning of abandoned Bihari huts, intimidation and physical assaults were reported from different parts of the State. — PTI
