HP restricts Services

NEW DELHI NOV. 24. Vikramjeet Singh (five for 56) and Vishal Bhatia (three for 58) helped Himachal Pradesh restrict Services to 233 in the first innings, in their Ranji Trophy Plate group match at the Palam ground here on Monday.

In reply, Himachal Pradesh was 131 for four with Virender Sharma batting on 50. Sharma helped the visitors recover from a precarious three for 35 before the match was called off 11.5 overs earlier than the scheduled close on the second day.

Brief scores: Services 233 in 116.4 overs (P.M.S. Reddy 66, Sanjay Verma 58, Vikramjeet Singh five for 56, Vishal Bhatia three for 58) v Himachal Pradesh 131 for four in 49.1 overs (Virender Sharma 50 batting, Faizal Mohammed three for 33).
