Maharashtra gains lead

Rajkot Nov. 24. Brilliant knocks by opener D. Jadhav and skipper H. Kanitkar helped Maharashtra gain a 98-run lead on the second-day of their Ranji Trophy Plate encounter against Saurashtra being played here today. Maharashtra was 275 for six at close.

Brief scores: Saurashtra 177 vs Maharashtra 275 for six (D. Jadhav 67, H. Kanitkar 60).
