Rajasthan takes lead

Jaipur Nov. 24. Host Rajasthan made 168 in its first innings, and thus took a 23-run lead over Karnataka on the second day of the four-day Ranji Trophy elite Group-B match here today.

Karnataka made 129 runs for one wicket in their second innings at close on the second day. Rowland Barrington 48 (4x4) and S. Shinde (2) were at the crease. Skipper J. Arun Kumar made 58 with the help of seven boundaries.

The match ended 10 overs before schedule due to bad light.

Resuming at the overnight score of 111 for five, Gagan Khoda and Rahul Kanwat added 105 runs for the sixth wicket. Khoda made 61 runs (215 mts, 7x4) while Kanwat hit 54 (144m, 9x4).

Rajasthan was bowled out for 168, 35 minutes before the lunch break. Karnataka
