Swamy's charge against DMK

New Delhi Nov. 24 . The Janata Party president, Subramanian Swamy, today alleged that the DMK had conducted the TANSI case ``very badly'' resulting in the acquittal of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa.

``...Although I got sanction to prosecute, the Karunanidhi Government in 1996 took away the case from me. Since then they conducted it very badly'', he told NDTV 24x7. Dr. Swamy, one of the petitioners in the case, said the judges have stuck to the letter of the law and not to the spirit of the law. ``Of course, the judges have passed strictures against her and I hope that she really learns from it.'' — PTI
