Letters to the Editor
Sir, I refer to the ULFA's call to the Biharis to leave Assam. People of both the States are inter-dependent and have been working together for decades. They should strive to foil attempts by chauvinistic forces to disrupt relations that have prospered over the years.
Prakash Chandra Trivedi,
Sir, If the Governments fail to curb the violence, it will prove a threat to the peace and integrity of the country. It will hit at the foundations of our Constitution. Our country is well known for brotherhood. We should not allow vested interests to disrupt harmony.
J. Gokul Kumar,
Sir, Though the Reorganisation of States on the basis of language was done in good faith, it has not worked the way it was expected to. It has only created divisions among ourselves afflicting the national fabric.
T.M. Sundararaman,
