Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is for the first time in the 42-year-old history of the premier Indian Institutes of Management that their Common Admission Test (CAT) has been cancelled. It is very disheartening that corruption has been so intricately woven into the fabric of our country. It comes as great disappointment and anguish for those who went through months of rigorous preparation.
Jyoti Khera,
Sir, The leak of the papers has sown the seeds of suspicion in the minds of the people. It is a matter of shame for the country. If such practices continue, people will have no faith in competitive examinations.
Rosy Yumnam,
Sir, India has long been known as the land of magicians and snake charmers. Hereafter, it will be called a land of scams: Tehelka, Telgi, Judev, cricket and CAT included.
W. Macwan,
