Award presented

CHENNAI NOV. 25. Darshan Shankar, Director, Foundation for the Revitalisation of Local Health Traditions (FRLHT), Bangalore, was presented an award by the Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Centre for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Columbia University, for his contribution to traditional medicine.

The award was presented to Mr. Shankar and the FRLHT for their pioneering work and unique approach to the conservation of medicinal plants and local health cultures in India.

The awards ceremony was held in New York on November 20.
