CHENNAI NOV. 25. Isolated rainfall occurred over coastal Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over interior Tamil Nadu and dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Thiruthuraipoondi (Thiruvarur dt.) and Vedaranyam recorded rainfall of 1 cm each.

The minimum temperatures fell at a few places over Rayalaseema and at one or two places over rest of Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, coastal Tamil Nadu and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were below normal at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over south Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over rest of the region.

Medak recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Thursday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry and isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over interior Tamil Nadu, south Kerala, Lakshadweep and south coastal Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, north Kerala and Karnataka.
