Rangasamy extends Ramzan greetings

Pondicherry Nov. 25. The Pondicherry Chief Minister, N. Rangasamy, has said festivals such as Ramzan brought to the fore the theme of unity in diversity.

The sanctity and purity of the occasion would bring joy and happiness to the people of Pondicherry, particularly those belonging to the Islamic religion, he said.

The Agriculture Minister, A. Namassivayam, the Local Administration Minister, A. Elumalai, The PCC president, V. Narayanasamy, and the leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, R.V. Janakiraman, were among those who extended their greetings.
