Mufti welcomes ceasefire

By Luv Puri

Jammu Nov. 25. Welcoming the ceasefire offer of Pakistan on the eve of Id-ul-Fitr and India's positive response to it, the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, today said this would help build a congenial atmosphere in the State leading to a new era of mutual friendship, cooperation and trust between the two neighbours.

In a statement here, the Mufti said, "A great beginning has been made and it is a movement forward. It gives a new hope for restoration of peace with dignity and end of violence.''
