Bomb hoax causes panic at Vidhana Soudha

BANGALORE Nov. 25. A call that said a bomb had been planted in the Vidhana Soudha caused panic on Tuesday morning. Police said a search of the premises proved that the call was a hoax.

The city police control room received the call around 11.30. The caller spoke in Telugu.

The security personnel at the Vidhana Soudha were alerted, and the dog squad and the bomb disposal squad rushed to the place.
