Oxford HS runs riot

NEW DELHI NOV. 26. Vanlal Peka and Lalramihuna scored two goals each as Oxford Higher Secondary School, Aizwal, drubbed NCC Goa and Karnataka, 7-0 in a league match of the Subroto Cup junior football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Wednesday.

Vanlal struck in the first minute and then in the 58th, while Lalramihuna (43rd and 55th) slotted home both the goals in the second half.

Lalsangbera (51st), Zodinthara (52nd) and Zodinglana (60th) were the other scorers.

In other matches, Government Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, outplayed Sainik School, Imphal, 5-0; Dumdum Kumar Ashutosh Institute, Kolkata, beat Saraswati Senior Secondary School, Rohtak, 2-0 and Army Boys BRC, Danapur, beat Guru Gobind Singh Sports College, Lucknow, 2-0.
