Addressing a press conference here today, K. K. Shetty, Country Manager (AMP Networking) Tyco Electronics, said nearly 40-45 per cent of revenue came from new economy companies, 20-25 per cent from corporate clients and the balance from banking and finance. Tyco Electronics in India is a Rs. 400 crore company, with the networking division contributing Rs. 80 crores. It has three wholly owned subsidiary units in India Bangalore, Pune and Kochi. To a query, Mr. Shetty said Tyco was planning to make India and China as manufacturing hubs for its electronic products.
