Corum comes to Chennai

CHENNAI NOV. 26. High-quality Swiss watches are here. Chennai is witness to a myriad of watches from Rolex to Omega and to beat it all, here comes Corum, a timepiece from Switzerland.

Corum watches were launched in Chennai on Tuesday at Helvetica showroom, which is the official distributor for these watches in the South.

In a chat with presspersons, Jacques Wizman, President of Corum Switzerland, said Corum had a superb craftsmanship combined with the endless search for beauty and innovation. The company launched exclusive range of Corum models, from the Golden Bridge to the Meteorite, from the Coin watch to Rolls-Royce. It was expected that many more exclusive limited editions that were true expressions would be displayed.

Mr. Wizman said Corum had chosen to join hands with The Helvetica in establishing its point of sale in South India. The company was at present having seven outlets across the country, which would be increased to ten by the end of the year. The price of watches range from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 12 lakhs. The company was planning to spend nearly Rs. 1.50 crores on advertisements.
