V. Shivashankar dead

Bangalore Nov. 26. The State DMK leader and former councillor of Bangalore, V. Shivashankar, passed away here this morning. He was in his early sixties. Mr. Shivashankar, who was a Kannadiga, was elected to the BMP Council four times from Ulsoor. Mr. Shivashankar suffered a heart attack while on his way to a temple near Kollegal on Tuesday.
