No let-up in infiltration, says Advani

New Delhi Nov. 26. Maintaining that cross-border terrorism is continuing, the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, today said the gesture of accepting ceasefire on the borders was aimed at demonstrating New Delhi's desire for peace that could come only if Pakistan abandoned terrorism.

``Cross-border terrorism still continues. There is no abatement in that,'' he told NDTV 24x7 news channel.

During the last couple of months, ``there have been many attempts at the border of sending infiltrators. There is no let-up.'' In September alone security forces killed 200 terrorists, which is an all-time high figure, Mr. Advani said. — UNI
