Mr. Berlusconi's decision to cancel his visit to India will not, however, have any bearing on the Fourth India-European Union summit scheduled for Saturday. "We will go ahead with the summit meeting," they told this correspondent late tonight. The European Commission President, Romano Prod, and the European Union High Representative for a Common Foreign and Security Policy, Javier Solana, will arrive in New Delhi as scheduled on Friday evening for Saturday's summit. The India-European Union business meeting, too, will go ahead on Friday, with the E.U. External Relations Commissioner, Chris Patten, and the External Affairs Minister, Yashwant Sinha, in attendance.
