Reddy, who had been depressed for a long time, was found dead and villagers located a bottle of pesticide near the body. They said that he had borrowed more than Rs.1 lakhs and went for cotton crop but incurred loss. The villagers said Transco officials had confiscated the starter of his agricultural motor for failing to pay power dues and a private financier reportedly filed a complaint with the police for not repaying the borrowed amount, last week. Narsi Reddy is survived by wife and two children.
