PM meets President

NEW DELHI NOV.28. The Prime Minister, Aatal Bihari ajpayee, met President, A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan today and briefed him on his recent visits abroad. The meeting lasted about an hour.

According to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communiqué, the discussion also touched on various aspects relating to the mission for the transformation of India into a developing nation and the programme for providing urban amenities in rural areas. Besides, they discussed other issues of national importance.
