Two more MLAs distance from `I' group move

Thiruvananthapuram Nov. 29. In yet another set back to the Karunakaram camp in the Congress, two of its MLAs today distanced themselves from the moves to form a new Government with LDF support by unseating Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, even as they maintained they were still with the `I' faction led by the senior leader.

Long-time Karunakaran associates, Therambil Ramakrishnan and V J Poulose, came out in the open stating that they would not be part of efforts to form a Ministry with the backing of the CPI(M)-led LDF on a day which witnessed a general lull in the factional blame-game that dominated the scene for over two months.

Mr. Ramakrishnan, a former Assembly Speaker, said in Thrissur that he considered it ``unethical'' to form a Government with LDF support after winning the election as a UDF candidate. --PTI
