16 selected for national Science Congress

KOLLAM Nov. 29. Sixteen students were selected as `child scientists' from the State-level Children's Science Congress-2003 which concluded here today. The selected students will participate in the national Children's Science Congress meet to be held in Lucknow from December 27 to 31.

They include seven in the senior category and nine in the junior category.

The winners are Arun Joseph from St. Joseph's High School, Alappuzha, Maya Chandran, Government High School, Vithura, Mohammed Rashid, Poomangalam Upper Primary School, Kannur, Abilash K. Prabhakaran, Government Higher Secondary School, Mundaeri, Saranya P.S., Government Vocational Higher Secondary School, Nellikunnu, Ashika Sasi, S.M. Higher Secondary School, Vellaramkunnu, Asha P. Moni, CPM Government Higher Secondary School, Peerumedu, Sreerekha A.R., Mount Carmel Anglo Indian Girls High School, Kollam, Beena A.S., Vimala Hridaya Girls Higher Secondary School, Kollam, Anand S. Krishnan, M.D. Seminary Higher Secondary School, Kottayam, Libin Joseph, St. Joseph's High School, Pulimkunnu, Silpa K.S., SNDP High School, Cheneerkara, Soumya S., CP Higher Secondary School, Kadakkal, Anand R., KAU High School, Vellanikara, Shama M.K., RNM High School, Naripatta and Merlin Mathew, Saint Sebastian's Upper Primary School, Podichira.

In the interaction during the project presentation, the winners are Sruthi K.S., Durga Higher Secondary School, Kanhangad, N. Kiran, CMS CHSS, Kottayam, Kira Cleetus, Government Upper Primary School, Vithura, and Shameena P.P., Government Vocational Higher Secondary School, Alanalloor, Palakkad. In the poster presentation competition the winners are Amitha K. Majeed, CKCG High School, Pavaratty, Haseena Hussain, GV Higher Secondary School, Alanalloor, and Navami Prakash, AUPS, Kidangoor.
