Tamil Nadu-Chennai
By Our Staff Reporter
CHENNAI. NOV. 29. Zee TV's Direct-To-Home (DTH) service provider, DishTV, today said it had appointed two distributors for Chennai city and about four others in the State. "The process of appointing distributors for the State is still on", a representative of the company said. Marina Electronics (Ph: 28445251) had been authorised to distribute DTH set-up in north and central Chennai, while Techno Park (Ph: 55292266) was for south Chennai. Since the tie-ups with service providers had not been finalised, the channel content was subject to change, a representative of Marina Electronics said. The line-up, that tentatively included all channels from the ZEE and Raj bouquets, Jaya TV, BBC World Wide, CNBC India and Cartoon Network, would cost consumers a little over Rs.100 a month. Details of DishTV's pricing and package were available on the web site www.dishtvindia.com.
