Letters to the Editor
Sir, Pakistan has made a remarkable move by agreeing to resume overflights. This, along with the current ceasefire agreement, if handled cautiously, will surely result in a successful SAARC summit. Rather than reverting to the usual fault-finding tactics, both sides should strive to put an end to the strife in Kashmir. Lakshmi Sukumar, Alappuzha, Kerala * * * Sir, Pakistan's decision is commendable. Hope the peace process is accelerated and a solution to the Kashmir problem found. Rajib Jena, Khurda, Orissa * * * Sir, It was good to see Indian and Pakistani soldiers exchanging sweets on the occasion of Id. Let the guns be silent along the Line of Control forever. Leenus Robert Pereira, Chennai
