Sir, Rajaji and E.V. Ramaswamy Naicker were political adversaries. But it did not prevent Periyar from attending the funeral of Rajaji. He came in a wheel chair to attend it. Those noble days are gone. Today, political animosity gives rise to personal enmity. None of the Tamil Nadu Ministers thought it fit to condole the demise of Murasoli Maran. R. Gopalan, Chennai
