By Our Special Correspondent

DEC. 1
. At an analyst meeting last week, the Intel President and Chief Operating Officer, Paul Otellini, disclosed plans to include the capability of a wireless access point in a forthcoming chipset, says a Reuters report.
The chipset, which is code-named, Grantsdale, is to be released in the first half of next year, and will complement Intel's Pentium 4 chips on high-end PCs. With this combination there will be no need for a separate stand-alone Internet access point for the PC user.
