Bodies of two terrorists recovered

By Our Staff Reporter

Sidhra (Jammu) Dec.1. After a 24-hours-long operation, the Army recovered bodies of the two terrorists who killed a policeman, a jawan and injured eight others, including an IAS officer, from the Sidhra forest on the outskirts of Jammu today.

Last evening, the Army bombarded the area with rocket launchers. Later, it launched the combing operations but had to suspend it temporarily late in the evening. The area was cordoned off during night. At dawn, the search operations were resumed and the disfigured body of the two terrorists were recovered in the morning. Weapons, including two AK-56 rifles and two pistols, were recovered. The body of the slain policeman (belonging to the dog squad) was also found. The carcass of the dog was lying nearby.
