The State Government's Election Department has ordered repolling in 13 booths for various reasons. The highest polling of 75 per cent was recorded in Dholpur, followed by 74 per cent in Hanumangarh and Jaisalmer districts. The Baran district in the Hadoti region in south-east Rajasthan registered the lowest polling of 54 per cent. Gheghra village, falling in Lunkaransar constituency, was flooded when the canal suffered a 50-ft wide breach due to the alleged negligence of irrigation officials in the water gauge conversion. Even as the polling booth was inundated, the voters and other villagers were taken to a safer place. The Gheghra polling booth is among the 13 centres where repolling will be conducted.
