Rain likely over Kerala

CHENNAI DEC. 02. Rainfall occurred at a few places over Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Kodavasal (Tiruvarur dt) recorded rainfall of 1 centimetre.

The minimum temperature fell at one or two places over South Interior Karnataka, North Coastal Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Telangana and changed little elsewhere over the region. They were below normal at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu and South Kerala, appreciably above normal at one or two places over North Interior Karnataka and Telangana, above normal at one or two places over south Coastal Tamil Nadu and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Ramagundam recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Thursday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and south Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Andhra Pradesh, north Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

FARMERS WEATHER BULLETIN (Valid until Thursday morning): Isolated rain to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: No significant change.
