Titan to foray into Pakistan

CHENNAI DEC. 2. Titan Industries is gearing up to export watches to Pakistan, a senior executive disclosed here today.

"We are just waiting now to board the flight to Pakistan... The company has already completed market assessment studies and is confident of a good take off,'' company Marketing Head, Asia Pacific region, Meera Harish, told newspersons on the sidelines of a seminar on `Branding India's exports' here today.

Referring to the thumping success of Indian brands like those of `Kingfisher' in Pakistan, the executive said she was confident of a positive ride in the neighbourhood. The company could use international brands like `Tetley' to position Titan in Pakistan, she added. — UNI
