30 killed in bus accident

Shimla Dec. 2. At least 30 people were killed and 25 injured when a bus fell into the river Ravi in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh this afternoon, official sources said here.

The overcrowded Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus, with some passengers travelling on the roof, was on its way from Bharmaur to Chamba when it plunged into the river near Gaira, 30 km from Chamba, they said. — PTI
