Metrowater caution

Chennai DEC. 2. Residents of MMDA Colony, Arumbakkam and NSK Nagar have been alerted by Metrowater on possible sewage overflow over the next two days.

The agency will take up inter-connection work at the Arumbakkam sewage pumping station from 8 a.m. tomorrow to 8 p.m. on Thursday.

In a release, the government agency said sewage overflow was possible in some areas during the work.

Residents could register complaints with the Area V Engineer (Phone: 2621 1122) or at the head office complaint cell (2853 5312/ 2853 4436).
