`Isaiperaringnar' award for M.S. Viswanathan

CHENNAI DEC.2. Music composer M.S. Viswanathan will receive the Tamil Isai Sangam's prestigious `Isaiperaringnar' award this year. The title will be conferred on him at the inaugural day of the Sangam's 61st music festival on December 21.

The seventy-five-year-old Mr. Viswanathan has composed film scores in all major South Indian languages, says a Sangam release.
