Online lottery claims life of Govt. employee

BANGALORE DEC. 2. A 30-year-old man who was reportedly addicted to online lottery and had lost large sum on it .allegedly committed suicide by hanging .at his house in Mahalakshmi Layout on Monday night.

Police gave the name of the man as H.V. Jayasimha, a Group D employee of the Department of Public Instruction. Quoting Jayasimha's mother, police said that he used to spend his entire salary on .lotteries.

Four boys arrested

Yelahanka police have arrested four boys, who are said to be rag pickers, on charges of vandalising idols at four places at Attur Layout and Puttenahalli on November 10. While three of the accused are from Attur Layout, one is from Rajanukunte.
