AOC officers meet from today

Hyderabad Dec. 3. A conference of senior officers of the Army Ordnance Corp is being held at their regimental centre at Secunderabad from Dec. 4 to 6.

According to a Defence press note, the focus of the conference would be on refining functional processes and professional activities to enhance logistics in an efficient and cost effective manner. Issues related to modernisation, automation, security and fire prevention and inventory management would be analysed.

During the recent Operations `Vijay' and `Parakram' the

Army Ordnance Corp achieved an unprecedented fitness level of Army equipment of 98 per cent, the press note added.
