According to High Court Registry sources, he was suspended following allegations of "unauthorised monetary transactions running into several lakhs." Mr. Krishnan "borrowed several lakhs from various persons." Through another notification, Mr. Adityan said Mr. Krishnan was "reverted to his substantive post of civil judge (senior division) with immediate effect." The Registry has also suspended Justin David, V Judicial Magistrate in Coimbatore. He had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Mr. Krishnan recently.
