Terming it as a "courtesy call'', the Chief Minister said she discussed the outcome of the results with Mr. Kapoor and also discussed the formalities with regard to formation of the new Government in Delhi. It is learnt that the resolution has been sent to Mr. Kapoor for necessary action. Under the law, Mr. Kapoor would wait for notification of the new Legislative Assembly by the Election Commission and then send the file concerned for dissolution to the Secretary, Delhi Assembly, for necessary notification. The term of the present House ends on December 13 and a new Assembly has to be in place before that time. It is learnt Mr. Kapoor congratulated the Chief Minister on her victory at the hustings and hoped that the process of formation of the new Government would be completed soon.
